She graduated from Martinsville High School with the class of 1973. For the past 15 years, Bonnie worked as a self-employed licensed massage therapist. In the past, she had worked at the Arvin's factory in Franklin.
Bonnie married the love her life, Clinton "Bulldog" Harmon, on November 10, 1984. She enjoyed camping, boating, and crafting. Although a sweet and loving woman, she was a master at pranking family and friends. Most importantly, she was dedicated to her large family and greatly enjoyed spending time with them.
She will be forever missed and remembered by her loving family including her husband, Clinton "Bulldog" Harmon of Edinburgh; daughters, Rodgina (husband, Ricky) Wheeler of Columbus, Julie (husband, Jamie) Bray of Morgantown, Codi (husband, Bubba) Cline of Trafalgar, Shirley (husband, Johnny) Brown of Kentucky, and Ashley Harmon of Morgantown; son, Charlie Harmon of Kentucky; brothers, John Cooper of Martinsville and John (wife, Wendy) Bolin of Martinsville; sisters, Neta (husband, Danny) Phelps of Martinsville, Connie Blaker of Coal City, and Betty Strader of Martinsville; 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 3 more on the way. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Robert and Nancy Cooper; son, Winfrey Harmon; and grandchild, Christopher Harmon.
The family will gather for a private visitation at a later date. Following the family visitation, her earthly remains will be cremated. Arrangements have been entrusted to Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center in Martinsville.
