Claudia (Evans) Johnson
Claudia Johnson, age 60, passed away unexpectedly in Tucson, AZ on January 6, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, David whom she missed dearly.
She was the daughter of the late Claude and Mary Jane Evans
and “little sis” to brothers Michael (Margie), Stephen (Kathleen), David (Christine), and Paul.
She is survived by her many Tucson and Pittsburgh nieces and nephews and Philadelphia cousins and her wonderful friends, especially the supportive and loving Johnson family, her fellow Church members, and coworkers in Tucson.
Claudia Jean was born October 16, 1960 in Pittsburgh. She graduated from Plum High School as a member of the National Honor Society in 1978 where she participated in many activities such as the musicals and cheerleading for her beloved “Mustangs.” She continued her education at Indiana University of PA graduating with a degree in Business in 1983. She moved to Arizona in 1985 and fell in love with the beautiful scenery and especially the weather.
She married her beloved David Johnson on August 14, 1996 and lived happily with him and their cats for 24 years.
She lost David in August of 2020, which broke her heart but now they are both together in peace. All family and friends will deeply miss Claudia.
Family and friends received, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 10:00am until Blessing Service at 12:00pm, Noon at Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd., 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills. Interment at Plum Creek Cemetery.
