Sharon Kay (Soban) Martinez entered this life on Friday, May 13th, 1955 in Kansas City, MO the oldest of four children to bless the home of William and Cora (Treasurer) Soban. Sharon was a hard worker that took pride in being a nurse aid, and helping others. Along her journey she met and married a wonderful man, Manuel Martinez, to enjoy the adventures with. Sharon was not one to sit still for long and had many things in life to keep her busy, including her birds, and a chihuahua that she adored. On a lazy day she could be found, crocheting comfortably in a chair, or riding around looking for a place to have a picnic. Hitting up a local flea market or shopping center looking for a good deal is something she couldn’t pass up. Sharon was very quiet until she got to know you, then her wonderful sense of humor would poor out putting a smile on everyone’s face. She loved to be around family and friends for conversation or to share a meal, cooking was a hobby and making Mexican food was her specialty. On January 23, 2021 Sharon’s busy hands came to rest when the Lord called her home in Tulsa, OK. Those that knew and loved her will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Cornelius and Sallie (Bigfeather) Treasurer, parents, William and Cora Soban, brother, David Soban, and her youngest son, Christopher Oosahwe.

She is survived by her husband Manual Martinez, her children, Thomasenia Johnson and companion Christopher Jacobs of Hulbert, OK, and Phillip Oosahwee of Alaska, two siblings, Carol Rockey and husband Joe of Fort Gibson, OK, and Tommy Soban and wife Eileen of Claremore, OK. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren Shyla Martin and husband Cheth of Tahlequah, OK, Tyler Jacobs, Nicholas Jacobs, David Jacobs, and Rosie Oosahwee all of Hulbert, OK, two great-grandchildren, Katie Martin, and Cheth Martin Jr. of Tahlequah, OK, five nieces and one nephew, Meghan Rockey, Kelsey Rockey, Kristie Burger, Vanessa Duncan, and Billy Soban, and one great nephew Shy Soban, as well as, a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.
