Ashley was preceded in death by grandparents, George H. Lancaster Sr., Melba Wiseman, and Elwood Shank.
She worked as a nurse with Maxim Healthcare caring for special needs children. Ashley loved children and was very good at caring for them and gave all of herself. She was the most selfless person. She also enjoyed playing fast pitch softball; she played for most of her life.
Survivors include her parents, George (Karen) Lancaster and Carol (Bob) Hansen; brothers, Andrew Lancaster and Preston (Abby) Lark; sisters, Kathrine Hansen, Charlotte Hansen, and Jessica (Kevin) Chapman; nieces, Kennedy Chapman, Kayleigh Chapman, and Kambrey Chapman; grandparents, J.B. Wiseman, Gail Finnell, and Charlsie Shank; and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 10-12 Saturday, January 30 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 12 noon Saturday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Pastor Darrell Davenport officiating.
