Robert Thayer Simon was the firstborn son of Esther Violet Elnora Warren and Parle P. Kelley. He was born in Long Beach, California and raised by his step-father, Walter Thayer Simon. Robert was both an artist and a musician. His great love was playing the piano and pipe organ. He taught piano for many years. He also enjoyed traveling the globe with friends, visiting Europe, Mexico, Canada and many locations in the U.S. Robert passed away from Covid-19 on January 23rd. He is survived by two younger sisters, Nola and Christine, and a younger brother, Walter Theodore, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and a younger brother, James.
