Regina Clarice Bridges, 79, longtime Guymon resident passed away Thursday morning, January 28, 2021 at the Heritage Community Manor.

The daughter of Acey Ephriam and Clarice Marie (Rivers) Bridges, she was born January 4, 1942 in Pattonville, Lamar County, Texas. The family moved to Guymon when Regina was young. She attended the Guymon school system, graduating from Guymon High School.

Regina proudly served her country in the U.S. Army, receiving her honorable discharge on August 7, 1963. She worked as a clerical secretary for Hinchey Ford for many years. Regina enjoyed reading, science fiction and collecting various things.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Acey Bridges and a brother, Larry Buford Bridges.

Survivors include her brother, Charles Bridges and wife Linda K. of Stillwater, Oklahoma; nephews and nieces: James and Gwen Stodghill of Oklahoma City, Misty Bridges-Vaverka of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Casey and Kristi Bridges of Decatur, Georgia; great nieces and nephews include: Hayley November Vaverka, Jaxon Bridges Vaverka, Katie Stonebraker, Jacob Stodghill, Killian and Ryder Stonebraker.

A private family inurnment will be held at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.
