Jean T. Barnett, 96, of Murrysville, died Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Redstone Highlands Murrysville.

She was born December 19, 1924, in Latrobe, PA, daughter of the late Ralph and Romayne Townsend.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Barnett; a granddaughter, Laura Sciullo; and a brother Jack B. Townsend.

Jean was a graduate of Latrobe High School and was a member of Beulah Presbyterian Church where she sang in the church choir. She enjoyed oil painting, quilting, golfing and was a loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Pirates.

Jean is survived by four children, Edith (Owen) Graf, Jamie Sciullo, David Barnett, Mary (Jeffrey) Tyke; four grandchildren, Scott, Susan, Bradley, and Benjamin; three great-grandchildren, Parker, Eliza and Natalie; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced. Interment was private at Unity Cemetery, Latrobe. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Beulah Presbyterian Church, Chapel Renovation Fund, 2500 McCrady Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15235. www.hartfuneralhomeinc.com
