DALEVILLE--James William Roberts, 58, R.R. 8, Muncie, died Sunday morning at Ball Memorial Hospital, after a three-month illness.
He was a native of Muncie and was employed at Delco-Remy, Anderson. He was a member of UAW Local 662.
Mr. Roberts was a veteran of World War II and a member of the United Methodist Church, Daleville.
Survivors are his wife, Pauline L.; two sons, Ned and James, both of Muncie; a daughter, Deborah Sue Roberts, Muncie; his mother, Mrs. Mae Roberts Collins, Daleville; two brothers, Herschell, Anderson, and Jesse, Merritt Island, Fla.; and a sister, Mrs. Valora Richman, Daleville.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ballard & Shirey Funeral Home, Daleville, with Rev. John Newberg officiating. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Middletown.
