He was drafted into the Army in December 1953. After discharge from the Army, He worked a few jobs before settling at Mobil Research and Development. He worked mostly in the retirement and benefits department. He retired from Mobil Oil in December 1992. He was involved in several organizations through the years, serving people in need, including Toughlove, and NAMI.
He was preceded in death by his parents Acy and Macie Lee, Brothers James, Acy, Bob, and Don.
He is survived by: Wife: Carole Children: Marc, Dawn, Lori (spouse Andy), David, and Jennifer Grandchildren: Jonathan, Sarah, Kendra, Kassidy, Kiley, Kamryn, Tawnya, Evan, and Landon Great grandchildren: Charlotte, Madeleine, Lillian, Nova, and Jonah, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Roy was a funny, smart, caring, interesting, loving, kind, gentle, giving man, with a strong passion for people. He will be greatly missed.
