Larry LeRoy Fowler of Hebron, NE the son of Ernest and Dorothy (Merrick) Fowler was born April 7, 1941 in Mound Valley, KS. He departed this life Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his residence in Hebron, NE at the age of 79 years.
Larry grew up in Mound Valley, KS attending school and graduating from Mound Valley High School in 1958. After high school his dad needed his help on the farm, they ran a grade-A dairy. Milking cows morning and night was a full time job.
Later Larry worked for Mabell Phone and TV taking in most of Kansas putting in TV and phone service. Later he was the City Manager in Morrell, KS, a certified electrician in Hill City. KS, he was a lineman and was called to Nebraska during the winter storm in 1976 to help restore power, he also worked for Scoular Elevator in Edgar, a fertilizer company in Shickley, Ne and welded in Bruning for JML.
He married Cynthia Nelson November 6, 1982 in Kansas City, MO.
Larry enjoyed being out in God's creation fishing and hunting.
Spending time with his family was always a fun time, especially with the grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers-in-law Jerry Winters, Joe Mauk, and Mack Hale, sister Nancy Schmidt and husband Norman.
He is survived by his wife Cindy of Hebron, sons; Larry Fowler and wife Angie of Great Bend, KS, David Fowler and wife Felica of Hamilton, KS, and Dustin Fowler and wife Brooke of Hebron, daughters; Trisha Seidl and husband Eric of Lincoln, NE, and Sheryl Hare and husband Tom of Toronto, KS, brother; Paul Fowler and wife Sandy of Westmorland, KS, sisters; Barbara Mauk of Florence, CO, Cora Winters of Independence, KS, Judy Hale of Mound Valley, KS, Susan Delk of Skiatook, OK and Kathy Hale of Florence, CO, 19 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
