Born August 18, 1947 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late John Keller and June (Poorman) Keller Matheney.
Mrs. Rogers had worked for over 20 years with the Milton Hershey School.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Jamie (and her husband, Michael) Ecker; granddaughters, Katarina and Kirsten Ecker; sister-in-law Darlene Rothrock; brother-in-law Frank Rothrock; niece Debra (husband, Blake) Bressler; nephew Timothy (wife, Tammy) Rothrock; niece Laureen (husband Rob) Herman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Blaine Rogers.
The family will plan a memorial at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the Penn State Cancer Institute.
