With deepest sorrow we announce Nicole Kimberly Marie Scott, age 38, our beloved daughter, mother, sister, family member and friend departed this life on December 22, 2020 peacefully in her home.

Nicole attended Epiphany Catholic School and St. Mary’s Academy. She was a graduate of John F. Kennedy high school. After Hurricane Katrina she relocated to Houston, Texas and attended Pharmacy Technician school where she proudly earned her Pharmacy Technician license from Medvance Institute. She moved back to her hometown, New Orleans, Louisiana after the birth of her second son. She was employed as a Pharmacy Technician at Ochsner Medical Center, and CVS Pharmacy. Nicole had a passion for reading the bible, quoting bible scriptures and exploring her beautiful surroundings. She is missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her and her unique intelligence and love she had for everyone. We miss her laughs, texts, and phone calls. We will always be proud of her and keep her close to our hearts. Her beautiful spirit, kind heart, and loving soul will live through us forever. Nicole leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving mother Tanya Layman Scott; Father, Gregory Scott; Sons, Dwayne Jaye Crenshaw III, and Reginald Donahoe III; A sister, LaTanya L. Scott-Cade (Kelvin); A nephew, Jamaal C.A. Scott; A niece, Kaylah M. Cade; Grandmother’s, Audrey L. Spann Layman, and Joycelyn Lewis; God-Mother, Mary Marks; God-Father, Kerry West; Aunts, Jenise Green, and Jonell Green; Uncles, Charles Layman Jr., Raynard Layman (Toya), Michael Green, and Wilbert Scott; as well as a host of other relatives. She was preceded in death by her Grandfather, Charles Layman; Devoted Aunt, Kim F. Layman.

A mass of Christian burial honoring the life of Nicole Kimberly Marie Scott will be held at Corpus Christi-Epiphany Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Avenue on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Visitation will be held from 8 am to 10 am. Private mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Private Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery NO. 3.
