Kevin Robert Rowe, 40, of Longview, Texas, lost his battle with complications from COVID-19 on January 23, 2021.
Kevin was born July 24, 1980 to Randy and Shirlene Rowe. He enjoyed playing football and hanging out in the woods with the Bentley Road Boys when he was younger. He graduated from New Diana High School in 1999. He enjoyed camping and numerous sports with his parents and his brother Jimmy. He also enjoyed watching his nephew’s games. Kevin met and began dating Heather Gage in 2003. They married October 23, 2010. Kevin enjoyed ordering take-out and watching movies with his wife. Kevin was a beloved father to Isabella (10), Rylie (8), and Sophie (4). He could frequently be seen covered in bows and makeup, getting tickled by his girls. Avid lover of the Texas Longhorns, wrestling, and Mexican food, Kevin could always be seen wearing his ball cap and sunglasses.
Kevin was preceded in death by his Grandfathers John Rowe and Horace Nipper. He is survived by his Grandmothers, Barnie Rowe “Granny” and Sue Nipper “Meme,”; Parents, Randy and Shirlene Rowe of Diana, Texas; Wife, Heather Gage-Rowe of Longview, Texas; Daughters, Isabella, Rylie, and Sophie Rowe of Longview, Texas; Brother, Jimmy Womack and Wife Kendra of Tatum, Texas; Nephew, Jordan Womack of Big Sandy, Texas; Nephews, Garrett and Ethan of Tatum, Texas; Uncle, Richard Nipper of Hallsville, Texas; as well as numerous cousins and other extended family members. He will be forever missed.
Graveside services for family and close friends will be held Monday, February 1, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Rosewood Park Cemetery. Out of respect to the family, please wear a mask if attending the service. Arrangements are under the direction of McWhorter Funeral Home.
