Betty Jane Hunt Alexander, 72, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at her son Jimmy’s residence. She was born on March 29, 1948 in Guilford County, NC to David Ralph Hunt and Ruby Lee White Hunt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Alexander on July 9, 2003; sister, Ruby Ann Grubb; brother, David Junior Hunt; and step-son, Joe Don Alexander.
Surviving is her son, Jimmy Ray (Tiny) Alexander and wife Michelle of Trinity; step-children, Robert Wayne Alexander of Thomasville, Thomas Eric Alexander of, FL, Deborah Hardister and husband Tim of Thomasville, Sharon Alexander of Asheboro, Saundra Alexander of Thomasville , and Lori Anne Patterson and husband Terrell of Asheboro; brothers, Arthur Lee Hunt of Thomasville and Donald Ray Hunt and wife Amy of Lexington; grandchildren, Janie Pierce, Tiffany Taylor, Felicia Lambeth, Emily Todd, Patrick Riley, Emily (Emmer) Praytor, and Jimmy Lee Shue, III (Boo-boo); and 12 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery
