Linda Lee Woodruff, 75 of Cheboygan passed away Tuesday January 26, 2021. Linda was born February 5, 1945 in Greenville, MI to Lawrence and Hilma (Smith) Wilcome. She grew up in Cheboygan and graduated from Cheboygan Catholic High School in 1963. On April 30, 1966 she married Richard Woodruff in Cheboygan where they made their home. Linda had been employed at several locations in Cheboygan including Krogers Grocery, Cheboygan Lumber Co. and did secretarial work at different businesses in Cheboygan. Linda was employed for 2 years at Cross in the Woods.
She enjoyed being active in Scouting, visiting casino's, reading, yard work and cooking. She was an active member of the Cross in the Woods and K of C Ladies Auxilary.
Linda is survived by her husband Richard F., son Richard M., daughter Dawn (fiance, Chris Chrestensen), grandchildren Ari and Asa, siblings Dennis (Barbara) Wilcome, Joe (Helen) Wilcome, Valerie (Galen) Hall, Cheryl (Dale) Noble and Don, sister in law Rhonda Wilcome and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents Linda was preceded in death by brothers Larry Jr., Mike, sisters Leona, Dolores and brother in law William Curtis.
A Funeral Mass is planned for Friday February 5, 2021 at Noon at Cross in the Woods Catholic Church.
She enjoyed being active in Scouting, visiting casino's, reading, yard work and cooking. She was an active member of the Cross in the Woods and K of C Ladies Auxilary.
