Obituary for Mrs. Jennifer Louise Bushong
Jennifer Louise Bushong 44, passed away peacefully Thursday December 17, 2020 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice in Jonesboro with her loving family by her side. Born to Johnny and Carolyn Sarrels in Osceola, Arkansas, she was one of 3 children.
Jennifer grew up in Michigan then moved to Northeast Arkansas where she attended high school in Manila. She spent her career in various capacities of healthcare, from administrative to CNA. She found her soul mate and best friend in neighbor Joshua Bushong. They have shared over 11 years together. Jennifer felt their biggest accomplishment in life was their blended family. More than anything she wanted to see all their children healthy, happy and successful. She was so proud of all of them and was always their biggest cheerleader and supporter.
She was preceded in death by her father Johnny Floyd Sarrels.
Jennifer leaves behind her husband Joshua Bushong I and her mother Carolyn Sarrels both of Caraway, Arkansas; four sons Joshua Bushong II, Gage Bauer and Tyler (Jessica) Wooten all of Caraway, Arkansas and Johnathan Wooton of Lake City, Arkansas; eight daughters Heavin Bauer and Destani Bauer both of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Tyesha (Jordan) Coker, Liberty Bushong, Lillian Bushong and Kyle Bushong all of Caraway, Arkansas, Nnekia (CJ) Millsap of Lake City, Arkansas and Melanie Wooten of Paragould, Arkansas; 23 grandchildren; one brother John Sarrels of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; one sister Tonya Sarrels of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a host of nephews, nieces, and lifelong friends.
A celebration of Jennifer's life will be held at 1PM Monday, December 21, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Caraway with Brother Rick Stevens officiating.
