Jimmy L. Lowe, 72, Bromide, passed from this life on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Jimmy was born on April 18, 1948 in Atoka, Oklahoma to Emit Louis and Wanda Lee (Barton) Lowe. Jimmy lived in the Johnston County area most of his life; graduating from Wapanucka High School. He later began welding and joined the U.A. Local 798 Pipefitters Union, retiring in 2012 after being a member for 40 years. He also served in the National Guard from 1967-1973. Jimmy loved fishing with his sons and his grandchildren.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Emit and Wanda Lowe; son, Nathan Lowe; twin sister, Jean Lowe, sister, Rhonda Lowe.

Those he leaves to cherish his memories are his 3 sons, Timothy Lowe of Bromide, Jason Lowe of Tishomingo, Jamey Lowe of Sulphur; 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Wapanucka, Oklahoma.
