She was born on July 5, 1938, in Lost Creek, a daughter of the late Hubert G. and Virginia Cottrill Duncan. On December 24, 1958, she was united in marriage to Lawrence Edward (Eddie) Donaldson, who preceded her in death on May 23, 2005. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one great grandchild Nova Lee Green; one brother James Duncan; one sister Elizabeth Blake; and two brothers-in-law: Doc Blake and Ronnie Miller.
She is survived by two daughters: Linda and husband Steve Cornell of Weston and Carolyn and husband Daniel Tenney of Buckhannon; three granddaughters: Jenny Cornell of San Antonio, TX, Angela Cornell of Weston, and Katelyn Tenney of Buckhannon; one sister Carolyn Miller of Buckhannon; one brother Hubert (Bud) Duncan and wife Becky of Good Hope; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Donaldson was a Methodist by faith. She was retired as a caregiver and enjoyed reading and playing Bingo.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2021, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel. A graveside service and interment will be held that day at 2:30 PM, at the Friendship Cemetery in Lewis County, with the Rev. Doris Brunty officiating.
