Curtis Dewayne Thomas, 58 of Jonesboro, passed away on January 21, 2021 at St. Bernard’s Hospital in Jonesboro.

Born on November 1, 1962 in Walnut Ridge; to the late Doyle Lacefield and Louise Dixon. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Vowell on March 10, 1984. He worked 22 years at International Paper and Great Dane in Jonesboro. Curtis was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Curtis would mentor to troubled children at times, no matter the situation or issue. He was a great husband, wonderful father and very cheerful person.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Douglas Sheets; and a brother, Leslie Thomas.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn of the home; one son, Eric D. Thomas of Jonesboro; one daughter, Tiffany M. Thomas of Jonesboro; one sister, Ruby (Alvin) McIntire of Jonesboro; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service will be Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 2 P.M. the Jonesboro Memorial Park with Anthony Timms and James Moore officiating.

Family request Facemask and social distancing to be practiced at the service.
