Jimmie was born on October 4, 1931 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, the son of Noah and Opal Crume Rhodd, and passed away on January 24, 2021 in Enid. After moving to Merced, CA, he enlisted in the US Army and was assigned to the Far East where he served honorably in Korea & Japan. After serving in the Army, he enlisted in the US Marine Corps in February 1954 and was honorably discharged in April 1958. After his discharge, Jim studied Diesel Mechanics and worked for CCA (Farmland) for 15 years in McPherson, KS. He was then transferred to Enid, OK where after 13 years, Jim got retired. Jim then signed up at the Waukomis Senior Citizen Center where he volunteered for 30 years. Jim married Janice Johnson at McPherson Kansas, June 7, 1959and had four children; Daniel, Susan, Richard, & Michael. He is survived by wife Janice, of the home, daughter-in-law Becky of Watonga & 3 children, Susan (Ed) & 3 children of Wichita Falls, TX; Richard (Laura) and 4 children of Cushing, OK; Michael (Jamie) and 1 child of Waukomis, OK. He was a proud Grandpa, Ggpa, and PePa and had multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by Father, Mother and son, Dan. He was a Purple Heart Veteran of the Korea Conflict and a proud member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation.
