Mr. Shane Allen Melton, age 33, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on January 14, 1988 in Madison, Indiana. He was the son of Jeffrey Allen and Kathy Smith Melton. He resided most of his life in Jefferson County, Indiana and received his GED. Shane was raised in the Catholic faith and currently was attending American Intercontinental University. He had worked early in life at Wendy's Restaurant in New Hampshire and then later for Genpak in Scottsburg in receiving. He was a member of the Hell Raisers 8:18. He enjoyed music, collecting hats, shoes, clothes and bling. Shane was found deceased on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at 12:13 p.m. on a farm in the woods near JA Berry road in Madison, Indiana.
A LOVING FAMILY
Shane will be missed by his father, Jeffrey Allen Melton and his companion, Patti Hearn of Madison, Indiana; his mother, Kathy Smith Melton of Seattle, Washington; his companion, Stephanie Ashcraft and her daughter, Adyson of Madison, Indiana; his step mother, Tammie Melton of Lebanon, New Hampshire; his sister, Jessie Watson and her husband, Dusty of Lebanon, New Hampshire; his half sisters, Melissa Dandridge of Dallas, Texas, Tashanna Murphy and her husband, Christian of Seattle, Washington; his step brothers, Jordan Moots of Lebanon, New Hampshire, Cody Moots of Lebanon, New Hampshire; Don G. Anderson of Madison, Indiana whom he considered his brother; his aunt, Debbie Woodfill and her husband, Mike of Madison, Indiana; his uncles, Bill "Red Dog" Melton of Madison, Indiana, Scott Smith of Dallas, Texas; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his brother, Shawn Lee Melton, died December 2, 2012, his cousin, Travis Melton, died June 19, 2020, his uncle, Michael L. Melton, died April 20, 2003, his grandparents, Velva Henry Melton Evans, died February 5, 2012 G.C. Evans,, died April 5, 2005 and Harold Melton, Jr., died December 30, 1982, and his great grandma, Ida Henry, died November 3, 2008.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 29, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., by Bro. Bob Hicks at the North Madison Christian Church, 1400 East State Road 62 in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Salem Cemetery near Cross Plains, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may visit Friday from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the North Madison Christian Church, 1400 East State Road in 62 Madison, Indiana.
