Billy E. Bailey, passed from this life on January 24, 2021. Mr. Billy was born to the union of Newt and Lewis Norris Bailey in Urania, LA on May 10, 1948. He was U.S. Army veteran, who worked at the LP plywood plant.
He will be remembered as a remarkable story teller with an uncanny ability to remember detail. He liked to cook, loved food and his family, with a special fondness of his "claimed" fur baby Oliver.
Mr. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, two half-brothers Clayton Bailey, and Autice Bailey, half-sisters, Euna Jean Bishop Wells and Ila Mae Simmons.
Visitation will be held at the Kinner & Stevens Funeral home, on Wednesday January 27, 2021, from 5PM until 9PM. The funeral service will be on Thursday January 28, at 2PM, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens with Rev. Terry Doughty and Gary Norris officiating. Interment will follow the service at Tidwell Landing Cemetery, in Sharptown.
