On May 29, 1971 she married the love of her life, William Tindale. They built a home and a wonderful life together in Delanson. There, Mary was a homemaker; raising their two children. She was very involved in her children's activities, never one to miss a basketball game or chorus concert. Mary was known to cook a fierce spaghetti dinner before the "big game" for the basketball team and create a home filled with laughter, love, and peace.
Mary was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church for nearly 50 years. Nothing kept her away from Mass on Sundays. We take great comfort that today she is dancing with the Lord whom she loved so very much.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Bill, of nearly 50 years, two loving children; Bill and his wife Nancie, and Kathleen and her husband Ryan. She was the cherished grandmother of 4 grandchildren; Noah and Micah Tindale, and Abby and Natalie Kane. She leaves her two dear sisters; Sr. Julia Werner, and Ellen Werner as well as caring nieces; Patti Bickford and Susan (Frank) Gionfrido.
Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Delanson, NY from 10am-11:45am. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place immediately following at 12pm. Mary's Funeral Mass will be live streamed through Our Lady of Fatima's Facebook page. Masks and social distancing will be required for both the calling hours and Mass. We thank you for understanding this policy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1735 Alexander Rd., Delanson, NY 12053.
