Ms. Byrd is preceded in death by her children Isaiah E. Dixon, Thomas Michael Dixon, Valeria Dixon, and Odell Dixon, grandchildren Bobby Davidson, and Odell Dixon Jr., great-grandchildren Teylin McAlpin and Larren Holloway.
She leaves to cherish her memories Cynthia E. Byrd, Venessa Bagany Rosa (David) Baxter, Louise Dixon, Tina Hudson of Killeen, Texas, 21 grandchildren, 86 great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Ms. Lillie Pearle Byrd will be held on Thursday, January 28th at 2:00 pm at Brown Temple CME Church located at 32 Phifer Street, Asheville. Burial will immediately follow the service at Sunset Cemetery.
