A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Larry and Mable Clark Bumgarner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Samuel Boone who died in 2016. Lynn enjoyed serving others through catering, hairdressing, babysitting, sewing, and volunteering for the Bethel Youth Organization, Pisgah Boosters, serving the Senior Citizens of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she was a member and many other groups and organizations. Lynn was employed by Haywood County Schools as a teacher assistant and bus driver and also served as Club Manager at Winchester Creek Country Club.
Lynn is survived by a daughter, Natalie Boone of Asheville, two sons, Jeremy Boone (Kelly) and Jerrod Boone (Kadie) all of Canton; a sister, Kathy Mease of Canton and six grandchildren, Nicholas Boone, Taylor Holland, Alex Boone, Whitney Boone, Ellis Boone and Lawson Boone.
A celebration of Lynn’s life will be held at a later date.
