Mr. Johnnie C. Hall was born to the late William Chancy Hall and Nancy Dickey Hall on October 3, 1926 in Wiggins, Mississippi.

He was of Baptist faith and was known as a person who could quote the Bible without hesitation.

He was a member of Love Joy Lodge #373 in Wiggins, MS.

As a young man he worked in a pole mill sawing logs and driving log trucks. He also went to a Technical Training School in Joliet, Illinois and became the first black Crane Operator at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, MS. He worked there for 20 years before he retired.

On October 16, 1946 he was united in matrimony to Levator Fairley. To this union four children were born, Bessie Lee; Gertie Mae; Johnnie Jr; and Katie Marie. He was preceded in death by his wife Levator, two children (Gertie & Johnnie Jr.) and six siblings.

He leaves to cherish his memory (2) daughters, Bessie Hall Riddle and Katie (Charles L.) Breland, and one son-in law Judge Brown all of Wiggins, MS; seven grandchildren, twelve great grand children, a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, one sister in-law, Theda Hall of Gulfport, MS.

Graveside Service will be Monday October 5, 2020 1:00 pm at Willis Cemetery, Wiggins, MS,.
