Phyllis Ann Neville-Russell, 77, of Columbus, died at 1:13 PM, January 21, 2021, at Waldron Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Waldron, IN. Phyllis was born July 24, 1943 in Jamestown, Kentucky the daughter of Alvin Glover and Lola Alice (Miller) Glover. She was married to the late Robert (Smokey) W. Russell Jr. on May 21, 2004.

Phyllis enjoyed singing karaoke, going bowling and watching her University of Kentucky basketball. Phyllis attended high school in Adair County, Columbia, KY. Lindsay Wilson Jr. College in Columbia, and Western University College in Bowling Green, KY. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge 398, and the American Legion. She was employed at Connectronics in Edinburgh, IN. for 7 years, retiring on June 17, 2015.

A time of gathering will be Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 10:00 until 11:00 am at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. The memorial service will be private with Pastor Derek Carpenter officiating. Live streaming of the service will be made available at 11:00 am by going to the funeral home website at www.jewellrittman.com. Private inurnment will be in Garland Brook Cemetery.

Survivors include son, Larry Ken II (Wendy) Neville of Trafalgar, two granddaughters, Sarah and Nikki Neville and one grandson, Chad Woolridge Neville of Franklin, and her loving companion Jack D. Foist of Taylorsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Benjamin J. Glover and three sisters, Mary Glover, Francis Glover and Helen Jean (Glover) Bennett.

Memorial Contributions may be made out to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
