Mrs. Mary Ryan Ransom of Arab, Alabama; passed away in the late hours of Saturday - January 23, 2021 at her residence at the age of 89 years.
Mrs. Ransom was born on March 31, 1931 in Morgan County, Alabama to the late John Herman Ryan and Lillie Loe Briscoe Ryan. She is formerly of the Ryan Community and enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching the HGTV Network, shopping, attending her grandchildren's ballgames, and spending time with her family. Mrs. Ransom was a member of the Ryan Baptist Church in Ryan, Alabama.
Mrs. Ransom leaves behind to celebrate her life and legacy; daughters, Kay Almond, Kim Bond and Kristy Parker (Keith); grandchildren, Brandon Almond, Rian Almond, Spencer Kelsoe, Tori Parker, Taylor Parker, Logan Parker, Gaige Bonds and Ian Bonds; special grandson, Tyler Kelsoe; siblings, Carolyn Jones, June Garrett, Joni Southerland, Dan Ryan and Jimmy Ryan; son-in-law, Van Johnson.
In addition to her beloved parents, Mrs. Ransom is at last reunited with her husband; Paul Wilson Ransom; son, Jeff Ransom; daughter, Sherry Johnson; grandsons; Shawn Almond and Chance Johnson; brothers, Nolan Ryan and Boyd Ryan.
A visitation will take place at the Ryan Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday - January 30, 2021.
Funeral service will take place at the Ryan Baptist Church at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday - January 30, 2021 with Bro. Terry Hudson and Bro. Michael King, officiating.
Interment will follow service immediately at the Ryan Baptist Church Adjoining Cemetery.
