STOCKTON, Richard Craig, Jr., 73, of Chester, Va., died Thursday, January 21, 2021. Born in Roanoke, Va., he was the son of the late Richard Craig Stockton Sr. and Mary Sybil Davis. He is survived by his sons, Todd and Robert; brother, Kenneth; daughter-in-law, Kimberly; six grandchildren and numerous friends. Richard served in the U.S. Naval Reserve and was a member of the Virginia Defense Force for over 20 years. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at the Chester Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. in Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Rd., Amelia Court House, Va., 23002. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
