Anne Virginia Wallace, 78, of Fayetteville passed away January 24, 2021. She was born in Pollock, Louisiana on April 9, 1942 to the late Thomas Bronson and Jessie Pearl Morgan.

Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Thomas L. Wallace. She is survived by her son Samuel Thomas Wallace; daughters, Dr. Beth-Anne (Shannon) Miles and Adra Anne (Mark) Mayfield; grandchildren, Jesse, Casey, Jo, Thomas, Lilly, Nathan and Clayton; brother, Pastor Shelton (LaNell) Morgan; sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Anne started her adult life as an Army wife and devoted mother traveling the world. She explored many domestic and foreign places with her family including Canada, Alaska, Japan, Egypt, China, Bahrain and Belgium. Little did she know that this would be the foundation to her storytelling passion.

Anne never gave herself accolades, rather, she was always praising those around her be it children, other artists, or her loved ones. She was a National Librarian of the Year, Co-creator of PeachSeed Festival, worked tirelessly with Emerging Voices at Callanwolde, GA, and Tribute to Veterans, secretary to the local VFW chapter, and received the Seanachie Award for Outstanding work in storytelling. She was a collaborator with the local elementary schools, churches, libraries, and senior center.
