He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and a Facebook fanatic.
Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Carl Chester and Alma Campbell; mother and stepfather, Thelma Louise and Fred Smith; brother, Freddie Campbell; sisters, Catherine Welch, Glendean Davis, and Ann Smith; and son-in-law, J.W. Thomas.
Survivors include his wife, Altha Faye Campbell; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Sissy Campbell of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Vicky and Billy Johnson of Eton, Mary and Barry Williams of Eton, Barbara Thomas of Chatsworth, Martha and Michael Hollis of Chatsworth, Bobby and Joe Disney of Chatsworth, and Billie Farner and Lamar Donaldson of Fairmount; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Debbie Smith and Roy and Debbie Smith – all of Chatsworth; sister and brother-in-law, Cherie and Lenny Stafford of Florida; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Campbell will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, January 25, 2021, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Green and Rev. Shane "Booger" Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Center Valley Cemetery.
