Vernon Leon Smith was born on January 26, 1943, to the late Thomas E. Smith and Rosa M. Reynolds in Wilson, Arkansas.
Vernon Smith was a very good and Christian man, He was a great husband a very good dad, and a good friend. He did not ask for much from others but tried helping however he could. He didn't have much in this life from childhood to growing up and becoming an adult but he shared with everyone, I never knew him to have an enemy, He liked playing his guitar and singing and he loved the Cowboy way of life. He loved simply being around people making them laugh or just picking at them to get a laugh, he was fun to be with. He was a very wise and strong man that took care of his family. This world could use more like him.
On January 21, Vernon Smith departed this life. He had a full and enriched life, he will be missed and loved by many. He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas E. Smith and Rosa May Reynolds; three brothers, Douglas Smith, Thomas Smith, Dale Smith.
