Janet Lynn Richardson, 66, of Columbia, MO, passed May 24, 2020.
Janet was born to Walter Hearn and Lila Love, November 4, 1953, in Litchfield, IL. She was lovingly adopted by her step-father, Richard Delong.
She graduated from Springfield High School in 1970.
She married Don Richardson in 1976, and they lived together in Springfield, IL until they divorced in 1992. Together they raised three children.
Janet was an inside sales rep with Anabolic Laboratories for 25 years and was passionate about helping doctors help their patients.
She leaves as her legacy three children: Brian (Rachel), Zack, and Crystal and one grandchild, Kaitlyn. She also leaves to cherish her memory four siblings. Her children remember her as a loving and compassionate mother, sister, and friend.
She was preceded in death by Lila, (mother), Walter, (father), and Richard (step father).
A Celebration of Life will be planned for mid-July at a location to be determined.
The family would also like to thank The University of Missouri Hospital, Hospice Compasses, and all the nurses and doctors for taking such good care of her in her final weeks.
