Patrick Francis Grant, 71, of Bethlehem Township, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. Born in Old Town, Maine on June 13, 1949 to the late Clyde H. and Theresa A. (Cavanaugh) Grant, Patrick attended Old Town High School where he lettered in football, baseball and basketball and was a member of the 1967 basketball team that won the state championship. Upon graduating in 1967, Patrick was accepted into the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he successfully completed his Bachelor of Science degree and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army, serving in Germany and Texas. After completing his service and attaining the rank of Captain, he was honorably discharged from the military, living in Illinois and New Jersey before settling in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 1986.

Pat had a long distinguished career working as a chemical sales executive for Pfizer, Cookson, Harcros, ISK Magnetics and Cathay Pigments. His work required extensive travel throughout the world, which allowed him to observe and experience many cultures. Pat volunteered as a little league coach and enjoyed entertaining his large family and many close friends. He was happiest with his family, presiding over his grill and watching them compete in sports and playing golf any chance he could. Spending time with his family was always the most important thing in his life. He was an avid Notre Dame football, Boston Celtics and Boston Red Sox fan and never missed a golf stroke of Tiger Woods. Pat was predeceased by his parents and four brothers, Jimmy, Larry, Marty and Shammy and two sisters, Hilda and Jean.

He is survived by his loving wife, Frederica and five sons, Christopher and his wife Mary, Bryan and his wife Kathryn, Andrew and his wife Andrea, Michael and his wife Tamera and Frederick and his wife Kathleen. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Brandon, Nicolas, Mary, Rylie, Drew, Colin, Rory, Chase, Cameron, Carter, Sawyer, Clara, and Cade. He also leaves behind his beloved brother, Dennis and his wife Barbara, sisters in law, Juliette and Germaine, countless nieces and nephews and many cherished friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday February 1, 2021 at 10:30AM in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, Easton, PA. Calling will be on Sunday from 3:00-5:00PM in the O'Donnell Funeral Home, 908 Hanover Ave. Allentown, PA. Interment will take place with Military Honors in the West Point Cemetery, NY.
