Martha J. Coffin, 85, route three Milton, died Tuesday at the Clifty Convalescent Center.


She and her husband owned and operated a milk route and creamery in Carrollton and Milton for many years. She was a retired employee of the former Young Furniture and a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Milton Baptist Church.


Survivors include on son, Fred Coffin, Cleveland, Ohio; one sister, Brooke Raker, Madison; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Coffin, in 1977, two sisters, and one brother.


Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Milton Baptist Church with burial in Moffett Cemetery.


Friends may call at the Wood-Oakley Funeral Home from 3 until p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the church.


Eastern star services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
