Sidney was a member of the Harding Street Church of Christ. Sidney married the love of his life, Linda (Flesher) Collins, on March 29, 1969. He was a subcontractor for Nuprime of Memphis for many years. Sidney spent much time tinkering around with things and Linda always called him “Mr. Fix-It.” Sidney’s hobbies included fishing, hunting, and playing slot machines.
Sidney is preceded in death by his son: Glen Collins; parents; Willie and Vonnie Collins; brother: Don Collins; and sister: Patricia Chance.
Sidney is survived by his wife of 52 years: Linda Collins; daughter: Tonia Black and husband Timothy; brothers: Bill Collins of Springfield, Lester Collins and wife Libby of Morrilton; sister: Joyce Cook and husband David of Appleton, Christine Camp and husband Charles of Morrilton; 6 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 8 step great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Bane officiating.
