Funeral services for Mr. Ronald James Bergeron will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Rush Funeral Home, Pine Prairie, with Reverend Barry Gautreaux officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery, Pine Prairie, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pine Prairie.

Mr. Bergeron, 62, of Pine Prairie, entered eternal rest on Friday, January 22, 2021, at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Ville Platte, LA.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid wrestling and football fan. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Bergeron and Yvonne Fontenot; his wife, Susan P. Bergeron; one brother, Tony Bergeron; one sister, Pauline Bergeron; and one grandchild, Madison Bergeron.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include two sons, Joshua Bergeron, and his wife, Megan, of Bossier City and Patrick Bergeron, of Pine Prairie; one daughter, Aleta Fontenot, and her husband, Joshua, of Pine Prairie; and nine grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Pine Prairie, on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
