Saluda SC - Roy Wilson Rogers, 79, passed away January 23, 2021 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Ridge Spring, he was the son of the late Clyde and Helen Proctor Rogers, and the husband of Vicky Sanders Rogers. He was a homebuilder and member of Salem Baptist Church. After graduating from Hollywood High in 1960, he served with the National Guard and United States Army Reserve. When he wasn't spending time with his wife, his girls or grandchildren, he could be found crappie fishing or in his garden. Mr. Rogers was also a member of the Saluda Masonic Lodge and Shriners. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Vicky Sanders Rogers, three daughters, Gina Schultz (J.J.), Lucinda Holmes (Kes), and Erica Rikard (Brad), six grandchildren, Victoria, Justin, Tyler, Roxi, Chandler and Luke, six great-grandchildren, Olivia, Wyatt, Holden, Pistol, Waylen and Aurora, and a sister, Kathy Ergle. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Franklin Rogers and Jerry "Cowboy" Rogers. Graveside at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Ramey Funeral Home.
