Graveside Inurnment at Burns Cemetery in Trenton, Texas is pending for Betty Womack, age 84, of Bixby, Oklahoma, formerly of Bonham, Texas under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Betty passed away Friday evening, January 15, 2021 lovingly surrounded by family at home in Bixby, Oklahoma.

Betty was born on July 4, 1936 at home in Ector, Texas. She was the daughter of Roy and Treva Jester. Betty married Eddie Womack on November 1, 1958 in Bonham, Texas. They were married for 29 years before Eddie’s passing on October 29, 1987. Betty loved being an Independence Day baby. She enjoyed watching the fireworks every year on her birthday. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She cherished the season of Christ’s birth and adored seeing the Christmas lights. Betty was a member of First Assembly of God in Bonham, Texas for many years before moving to Bixby. She worked for McCraw Oil for over 50 years. Betty loved animals, especially her granddogs. She enjoyed reading Christian literature and listening to Christian music. Betty was a devout woman of God and greatly loved the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter, sister and five brothers.

Betty is survived by her son, Keith Womack and wife Sheila of Bixby, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
