Visitation will be from 5:00PM-7:00PM on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Kirk Funeral Home in Rapid City.
Funeral service will be 10:30 am, Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Pine Lawn Memorial Park at Rapid City.
Rodney Robinson was born on December 4, 1965 in Lemmon, SD to Bernice (Warfield) Robinson. He was the fifth of six children.
Rodney went to grade school and high school in Lemmon, SD, graduating in 1984. He also went to Vo-Tech in Watertown, SD for two years for Carpentry. Rodney lived his younger life on a farm southeast of Lemmon. He moved to Rapid City in 1987. He worked for different carpenters and then for Perdues Inc. for thirty-two years. Due to declining health and continuous doctoring and surgeries he was unable to work for the last couple of years. Rodney loved to dance, attend rodeos and watch the Minnesota Vikings.
Grateful for having shared in Rodney's life are his mother,three brothers,two sisters, two sister-in-laws,two brother-in-laws,special friend for over 20 years, D.A.; one aunt and Uncle as well as other relatives and friends.
Rodney preceded in death by his father, grandparents and aunt and uncles.
