Christopher Jay Snyder, 57, of Oconomowoc passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 24, 2016. Chris was survived by many friends and family who already miss him dearly. He was a loving father to Jesse (Brittany) Snyder, Shane (Maggie) Snyder, Dylan, and Sierra. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Brynn, Owen, Kaiden, Gavin, Peyton and Chase. Chris was the youngest of four brothers, Brian (Lois) Snyder, Kevin Snyder, and Steve (D’Etta) Snyder. He was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Finally, he is survived by his best friend, Vilas Rasmussen. Chris was preceded in death by his wife of 24 years, Wendy (Piskula) Snyder, as well as, his parents, Merle and Shirley Snyder. Friends may visit on Saturday October 1st from 10am-1pm, at the funeral home with a burial service immediately to follow at Summit Cemetery.
