GOSHEN. IN. -- James A. Coyle, 93, of Goshen, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Elkhart Hospice House after a short illness. He was born July 23, 1927 in Goshen to Ernest and Della M. (Hite) Coyle. He married Lenora (Vincent) Wolff March 16, 1968 in Elkhart.

She survives along with six children, Connie Rich of Mission, Texas, Sandra Stump of Goshen, Tim Coyle of Sturgis, Michigan, Randy (Cindy) Coyle of Elkhart, Patricia (Rodney) Cummings of Goshen and Rhonda (Donald) Wolff Walker of Syracuse; 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lloyd; and three sisters, Evelyn, Julia and Nadine.

Jim was a general contractor and known as a “jack of all trades” having worked many different jobs. He was very skilled at woodworking and fixing things.

He served with the US Navy and was a member of American Legion Post #143, Bristol and DAV #19, Elkhart.

A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.

Memorial donations may be given to DAV Chapter #19, Elkhart.
