Kenneth “Dwayne” Wallace, son of the late Perry Wallace and Vina (Bowers) Wallace was born October 22, 1942 in Mill Spring, MO. and departed this life on January 19, 2021 in Saint Louis, MO. He had attained the age of seventy-eight years, two months and twenty-eight days.

Dwayne had resided in Ellsinore since 2004 and was formerly of Saint Louis. He was of the Baptist faith and had attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Van Buren, MO. He enjoyed being outdoors, going to the river and collecting antiques and cars. Dwayne was kind, good hearted, loved to talk, strong willed and you never had to wonder what he was thinking.

On October 28, 1961, he was united in marriage to Betty Jane Wallace in Ellsinore, MO. She preceded him in death on January 5, 2017.

He is survived by his son, Alan Wallace of Arnold, MO; his companion, Freida Jones of Van Buren, MO; two siblings, Mattie Low and Marie Carter; his grandson, Kyle Alan Wallace and many family and friends who will mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Dwayne was preceded in death by seven brothers, Nolan, Junior, James, Ray, Donald, Perry Joe and Roy and his sister, Evelyn.
