Michael Leo Gough, age 76 of Morganfield, KY passed away Friday 1/22/2021 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. Mike was born July 13, 1944 in Morganfield to the late William Leo and Dorothy Cambron Gough.

He was a lifetime farmer with his three brothers. Mike was a member of Saint Agnes Church and the Uniontown Knights of Columbus. He always enjoyed telling a story or joke and had an infectious laugh that was known to everyone. Mike never missed an opportunity to travel, see new things, and meet new people. He was an avid JPII basketball supporter, outdoorsman, pit master, cook, adventurous spirit, and had a zeal for life. In retirement, Mike enjoyed time with family and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Judith Ann Gough

Survivors include His wife of 52 years Carol Thompson Gough of Morganfield, sons Michael Craig & Cindy Gough of Morganfield, Randall Scott & Gena Gough or Murfreesboro, TN, Grandchildren Grace, Hayden, & Josie, brothers Doug Gough of Morganfield, Kenny & Linda Gough of Morganfield, Jerry & Carole Gough of Morganfield, sister Linda & Terry Wedding of Morganfield

Funeral service will be 10 AM Tuesday 1/26/2021 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Uniontown. Fr. Randy Howard will officiate. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Monday and 8 AM until service time Tuesday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY where prayers will be said at 7 PM Monday. Entombment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Uniontown, KY
