Alvarado - Charles W Bradley , 93 a retired self employed truck driver, landscaper and Soldier for Jesus went to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 20, 2021 at a local hospice.  Funeral arrangements are at Clayton Kay Funeral Home in Alvarado, TX. and burial service will be at Pleasant Point Cemetery.

Charles W Bradley was born on August 25, 1927 in the small community of Bradley, Texas, Johnson County to John Bunyon Bradley II and Virginia Enola Shirley Bradley.  He served in WWII in the US Navy onboard an aircraft carrier in the south pacific.  He was a lifelong resident of Alvarado.  He was a self made man who loved his God, his family, Church and friends without boundary.  He was known as Husband, Dad, Charlie, Charles, Paw Paw Charlie, Uncle Charlie, Uncle Paw Paw to family.  He loved to dance and never missed an opportunity to do so.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cleburne and Grandview for many years.  

He was widowed three times and preceded in death by Doris Bradley, Mildred Bradley and Gloria (Jeane) Bradley.  He was also preceded in death by his beloved Brother John "Jack" Bunyon III and his Wife Laura, his Sister Evelyn Martine Bretz and her husband Henry, step Daughter Bobbye Kaye West, step Son Michael Young, Larry Purifoy, Teresa Bradley and his lifelong friend Dan Hill.  He lived his life to serve the Lord and brought many people to know Jesus.  

Survivors: Son Dean Bradley and wife Karen, Grandson Michael Bradley and wife Rita, Great Grandson Mason Bradley and wife Amanda, step Daughter Melody Mendolia, step Daughter Teresa Phillips and husband Jim, step Son Stephen Young and wife Deborah, step Daughter Theresa Young, step Son Steve Abel and wife Diane, step Daughter Cindy Sanchez and husband Robert. Sixteen Grandchildren, Eighteen Great Grandchildren, Three Great Greatgrandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
