Kevin Jay James was born November 23, 1974 to Leon and Darlene(Keller) James in Tucson Arizona. Kevin spent his early years residing on military bases before his parents permanently made Cheyenne home. Kevin graduated from Cheyenne East High School in 1993, after high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Kevin enjoyed trips to Las Vegas with his family, watching his favorite sports team the Denver Broncos and most of all spending time with his 3 children. Kevin could be found eating his Reese's peanut butter cups while watching his team on gameday. Kevin also enjoyed collecting many pairs of shoes and hats whenever he got the chance. One thing he was most excited about was becoming a grandpa for the first time. He was known for his kind and compassionate spirit and his infectious smile.
Kevin is survived by his children Llesah (Matt), Jaylen (Halie), and Kobe of Cheyenne; and their mother Tracy Salinas; his brother Leon (Ann) of Cheyenne; and nephew, Justin James; along with many other extended family members. Kevin is also survived by his grandson that is due in march.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leon; mother Darlene; and a host of other relatives.
