Born Oct. 19, 1932, in Glenfield, N.D., to Benjamin and Julia (Grondahl) Jones, she was raised in North Dakota with her two brothers, Wayne and Ron Jones, and graduated from the University of North Dakota. She was involved in a wide variety of endeavors over her life, but her greatest joy was her family, visiting the beach, and collecting Christmas cookie jars and village pieces.
She is survived by her husband of almost 58 years, Jerry; her four children, Timothy, Megan, Sean, and Torrey; and four grandchildren, Caitlin and Sean Moffett, and Alanna and Trevor Murphy.
Due to current restrictions, a funeral will not be held, but she will be interred in Willamette National Cemetery.
