Elisabeth Katharina (Kathy) Theresia Hall, 79, of Orange Grove, TX, died unexpectedly after routine surgery in Corpus Christi, TX. She went home to be with our Lord on January 17, 2021, at 2:24 pm.

Kathy was born August 27, 1941 in Straubing, Germany (Bavaria) to Franz Lukas and Hedwig Walter. She was adopted at age 14 by a military couple, Eugene and Thelma Brown who brought her to the United States.

She was a selfless, kind, and generous person who would go without, in order to help others. She would literally give you the shirt off her back. She had a feisty personality with a can-do attitude. She was extremely resourceful. She worked harder than most men and she had a great sense of humor. She was loved dearly by all who knew her. Kathy was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Franz and Hedwig Lukas, her 10 siblings: Hedwig Engl, Franz Lukas, Johann Lukas, Rudolf Lukas, Eduard Lukas, Hermann Lukas, Ilse Knott, Elfriede Zwing, Irene Lukas, Irene Lukas, her husband, Lawrence F. Hall, Sr. She will be laid to rest beside Lawrence at Evergreen Cemetery in Odem, Texas.

Kathy is survived by her seven children: Renita (Robert) Collier of Terrell, TX, Velda (Kerry) Poole of Justin, TX, Lisa (John) Petersen of San Antonio, TX, Clay (Jonette) Ford II of Orange Grove, TX, Melissa (Stephen) Gonyou of Orange Grove, TX, Lawrence "Larry" F. Hall (Ashley Perez) of Freer, TX, and Hadie McNeal of Corpus Christi, TX. Kathy leaves behind 23 grandchildren (1 on the way) and 27 great-grandchildren.

Honorary Pallbearers will be grandsons: Terry Harris, Jr., Elisha Harris, Brandon Rabenaldt, Aaron Ford, Travis Cash, Tyler Cash, Justin Hall, and Troy McNeal.
