On Monday, January 18th, 2021, Leon Jan Anderson passed away, unexpectedly, at the age of 77, at home with his wife Donna. He was a loving husband and father of two sons.
Leon was born on January 6th, 1944 in Bakersfield, Missouri. Leon and his family moved to Illinios in 1955. There he met his soulmate in 1962, Donna Fields. They got married March 28th, 1964 in Belvidere, IL. They have 2 sons. Leon J Anderson (Rosa) and Alan Ray Anderson (Amy). Leon worked as a plant manager at Metal Improvement for 7 years and retired in 2004. They moved to Theodosia, MO, in 2005 and built their "little shack by the lake." They loved to travel in their motorhome to visit family and friends. He enjoyed splitting wood with his friend Kenny, fished on his pontoon boat, rode his new motor bicycle, and rode a Honda motorcycle. He texted his sons every morning "Good morning son." Leon and his wife enjoyed life to the fullest and it showed.
