Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Gertrude Young.
In addition to her husband, she will be missed by her only child, Rhonda Wood Little (John); stepchildren, Wendy Archibald (Barry), Tammy Fowler (Steve), Katie Traynham (Brad), Alfred Coote, Dwight Coote (Debbie), and Dwayne Coote (Kim); grandchildren, Kerry Little Wilson (Nicholas), and Joseph Charles Little (Renee); great-grandson, Bradley Royce Little; sisters, Martha Kennedy (Paul), Frances Hammond (Bud), and Jean Ellison (Steve); and a multitude of nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her previous husbands, Fredric Wood and Zonnie Jones.
Anne graduated from Greenville High School in 1954. She enjoyed reading and traveling (Canada, Mexico, Japan, and Hawaii) when her health allowed. Much like the hummingbirds she was so found of. Anne was a symbol of joy and happiness to all who knew her. She was a generous loving mom, grandmom, wife, sister, daughter, and aunt. She had worked at the YMCA on Cleveland Street for many years handling bookkeeping and registrations. She retired from Shedd Foods as a bookkeeper. She was a former member of Piedmont Park Methodist Church, Taylors First Baptist, and Brushy Creek Baptist. She knew the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior and is with Him now.
